Sky continues to drop weekly episodes of HBO’s Succession through month, but there are still more HBO gems to unwrap, from the return of Perry Mason to the debut of sporting doc Shaq. Sky Cinema, meanwhile, continues to benefit from its new model of replacing daily releases with weekend premieres. Four-time NBA champion and icon Shaquille O’Neal reflects on his Hall of Fame career in this four-part HBO documentary. All episodes arrive at once.
Chasing the Rains (7pm, Sky Nature) – 2nd April
This documentary about Kenyan wildlife follows an elephant herd in Samburu and cheetah mum Kuleta in Naboisho, before checking in on wild dog Phoenix and her new litter in Laikipia.
Dreamland (9pm, Sky Atlantic) – 6th April
Set in the sun-drenched British seaside town of Margate, it is a dark comedic exploration of multi-generational female relationships, and their (somewhat dysfunctional) family dynamics. Eldest sister Trish (Freema Agyeman) is pregnant for the third time with her partner Spence (Kiell Smith- Bynoe). And this time, she’s decided: it’s going to be a girl. Her two sisters Clare (Gabby Best) and Leila (Aimee-Ffion Edwards) rally around her with their mum (Frances Barber) and their Margate- legend nan (Sheila Reid), “manifesting” a little girl at Trish’s ‘mani-festival’. But when their other sister, Mel (Lily Allen), makes an unexpected reappearance back into their lives, her return threatens to destabilise the entire family. Intelligence: A Special Agent Special (9pm, Sky Comedy) – 8th April
They’ve countered the Russians, they’ve foiled a plot to disrupt the NHS and they’ve prevented a nuclear disaster… But in this one-off special, the latest threat to our gang at the Government Communications Headquarters is personal. With the future of CySec at stake, the team have to go rogue to save their reputations and their jobs. My Neighbour Adolf – 23rd April

A Good Person – 28th April
Written and directed by Golden-Globe nominee Zach Braff. We follow Allison (Pugh), a young woman whose world falls apart when she survives an unimaginable tragedy, whilst in recovery for an opioid addiction and unresolved grief. She forms an unlikely friendship with her would-be father-in-law, Daniel (Freeman) that gives her a fighting chance to put her life back together and move forward.
Resurrection – 29th April
