What’s coming soon to Netflix UK in November 2021?
David Farnor | On 29, Oct 2021
Netflix is stepping up its feature film game this November with the arrival of Western remix The Harder They Fall, surprising documentary A Cop Movie, Halle Berry’s directorial debut Bruised, Rebecca Hall’s directorial debut Passing and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s directorial debut tick, tick…BOOM!, as well as new blockbuster Red Notice.
But with Christmas on the horizon, it’s also time to unwrap Netflix’s latest festive originals, including The Princess Switch 3 and A Castle for Christmas – which are joined by the return of Love Actually and the debut of Aardman’s Robin Robin.
Netflix hasn’t forgotten about its original series, though, with Narcos: Mexico and Big Mouth both returning, alongside Star Trek: Discovery and new Korean thriller Hellbound – plus its potentially divisive remake of Cowboy Bebop. All that plus an animated show called Dogs in Space? There’s no risk of running out of things to watch – although with a new season of Selling Sunset and Tiger King on the way, it’s more a question of whether you’ll be able to resist their pull to watch the rest of it.
Here’s what’s coming soon to Netflix UK in November 2021:
Pretty Little Liars: Season 1 to 7 – 1st November
Already binged through Gossip Girl on BBC iPlayer? One of the definitive modern high school mysteries returns to Netflix, following four friends whose darkest secrets come to light.
The Claus Family – 1st November
When his grandfather suddenly falls ill, holiday-hating Jules learns of his family’s magical legacy and realizes he’s the only hope to save Christmas.
The Killing of a Sacred Deer – 1st November

The Harder They Fall – 3rd November
Starring Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, Regina King, Delroy Lindo and LaKeith Stanfield, the film follow outlaw Nat Love (Jonathan Majors) who discovers that his enemy Rufus Buck (Idris Elba) is being released from prison and rounds up his gang to track Rufus down and seek revenge. Those riding with him in this assured, righteously new school Western include his former love Stagecoach Mary (Zazie Beetz), his right and left hand men — hot-tempered Bill Pickett (Edi Gathegi) and fast drawing Jim Beckwourth (R.J. Cyler)—and a surprising adversary-turned-ally. Rufus Buck has his own fearsome crew, including “Treacherous” Trudy Smith (Regina King) and Cherokee Bill (LaKeith Stanfield), and they are not a group that knows how to lose.
A Cop Movie – 5th November
Director Alonso Ruizpalacios takes us deep into the Mexican police force in the film, which tells the story of Teresa and Montoya, together known as “the love patrol”. Following family tradition, Teresa and Montoya join the police force, only to find their convictions and hopes crushed. Their emotional bond becomes a refuge for the hostility they are exposed to. Ruizpalacios plays with the boundaries of non-fiction, blending experimental narrative and documentary storytelling to immerse the audience into the human experience of police work within a dysfunctional system, and giving voice to one of Mexico and the world’s most controversial institutions.
Narcos: Mexico: Season 3 – 5th November
The spin-off from the drug-trafficking drama sees the previously Colombia-focused series cross the border into new territory. The third and final season will take us into the 1990s, as the drug business meets globalisation and war breaks out in the wake of Gallardo’s arrest. As a new generation of kingpins emerges, truth becomes the first casualty. Scoot McNairy will be back once again as Breslin, joined by returning cast members José María Yázpik, Alfonso Dosal, Mayra Hermosillo, Matt Letscher, Manuel Masalva, Alejandro Edda, Gorka Lasaosa.
