What’s coming soon to Netflix UK in May 2020?
David Farnor | On 28, Apr 2020
The majority of the UK might not be going anywhere for several more weeks, but Netflix’s horizons have rarely seemed wider, as the streaming giant goes to space and back in May, while stopping off in LA, Paris, Finland and Schitt’s Creek.
Ryan Murphy’s drama Hollywood leads the way for a month that also includes Damien Chazelle’s jazzy new series, The Eddy, a new mystery from the creator of Money Heist, the delayed arrival of Snowpiercer in the UK, plus the return of Dead to Me for a second season.
Uplifting entertainment is on offer from a surprise documentary about Michelle Obama and another outing for She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, and there’s bittersweet goodbyes to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, returning for a final interactive special, and Schitt’s Creek, back for its sixth and last season. New comedy is also on the way, though, including Kumail Nanjiani film The Lovebirds and Space Force, the new sitcom from Greg “The Office” Daniels, starring Steve Carell.
All that and a French drama starring Eric Cantona? Here’s what’s coming soon to Netflix UK in May 2020:
