What’s coming soon to Netflix UK in June 2023?

Netflix is bringing back its big hitters for the summer, with June seeing the return of Black Mirror, Extraction, The Witcher, Our Planet and – yes – Is It Cake?. They’re joined by the film of the musical Matilda, a new thriller starring Sarah Snook and animated franchise spin-off Skull Island.

Blackfish – 1st June
An angry, righteous piece of work that deserves to be seen.
Chalet Girl – 1st June

Transformers Earthspark: Season 1 – 15th June

Black Mirror: Season 6 – 15th June

Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King: Season 1 – 16th June

Extraction 2 – 16th June
Chris Hemsworth reunites with director Sam Hargrave for this sequel to the action thriller, which sees Tyler Rake (Hemsworth) back as the Australian black ops mercenary, tasked with another deadly mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held.
Break Point: Season 1, Part 2 – 21st June

The Witcher: Season 3, Part 1 – 29th June
Inspired by the second installment in the book series, Time of Contempt, Season 3 sees Geralt (Henry Cavill) takes Ciri of Cintra (Freya Allan) into hiding, determined to protect his newly reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Mikey Day returns for another round of the unlikely competition series inspired by the meme, as judges will once again be confronted with the almost impossible task of discerning a real item from a cake that looks like it.
