What’s coming soon to Netflix UK in June 2022?

It’s all about returning favourites this month on Netflix, as The Umbrella Acamedt opens its doors for a third term, Borgen is revived for a limited political term and Money Heist gets a new Korean spin-off. But watch out for some possible unexpected new film treats, with Adam Sandler drama Hustle, Jennifer Lopez documentary Halftime and Joseph Kosinski thriller Spiderhead on the way, along with older gems Motherless Brooklyn and Paddington 2.

Paddington 2 – 1st June

Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa – 1st June
If Alan Partridge directed a movie about himself, this would be it.
Borgen – Power & Glory: Season 1 – 2nd June
“Is she a different person and politician to the prime minister we knew 12 years ago?” That’s the question at the heart of the new trailer for Netflix’s revival of the Danish political drama. It again stars Sidse Babett Knudsen as Birgitte Nyborg, now working as Minister for Foreign Affairs. She will deal with some of the biggest political issues of our time, including the relevance of the Danish Realm in the modern world, the superpowers’ battle for control of the Arctic and the climate crisis. The main story focuses on the struggle for power and what power does to people – both professionally and on a personal level.
The Perfect Mother: Season 1 – 3rd June
Convinced of her daughter’s innocence in a homicide, a devoted mother soon uncovers unsettling truths as the line between victim and perpetrator blurs.
Floor is Lava: Season 2 – 3rd June
Netflix’s unlikely competition series is back with bigger obstacles, higher stakes and hotter lava.
Interceptor – 3rd June

The Craft: Legacy – 20th June
Blumhouse’s horror reboot follows Frankie, Tabby and Lourdes who are on the lookout for a fourth member to complete their coven of witches. When they befriend Lily and accept her into their coven, they realise the dangers of their powers.
The Umbrella Academy: Season 3 – 22nd June
Based on the comic book series created and written by Gerard Way, illustrated by Gabriel Bá, and published by Dark Horse Comics, Netflix’s series follows the seven children who were adopted by the billionaire Reginald, who created The Umbrella Academy and prepared them to save the world. After Season 2’s timey-wimey hijinks, Season 3 finds the siblings face to face with another Reginald academy from a different timeline: The Sparrow Academy.
Snowflake Mountain: Season 1 – 22nd June

Man Vs Bee: Season 1 – 24th June

Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area: Season 1 – 24th June

Spiral: From the Book of Saw – 28th June
