What’s coming soon to Netflix UK in June 2019?
David Farnor | On 22, May 2019
Here comes the sun, as June finally arrives on our horizons, bringing with it hot weather, blue skies, the cheerful promise of lounging out on the grass for hours on end – and also, no end of excuses to stay indoors, thanks to Netflix.
The streaming giant’s about to enjoy a dark month of dystopia, with Black Mirror returning for a fifth season and new Indian thriller Leila both arriving – not to mention the third season of Brazilian series 3%, Season 2 of German drama Dark and the sophomore outing from warped cop series Happy.
Happier things are on the way too, though, from Jon Favreau’s The Chef Show and Creed II to the reprisal of Tales of the City and the reboot of Shaft. Also revived is the resurrected Designated Survivor, once cancelled by ABC. A clutch of BBC favourites are on the way too, including Black Earth Rising and Blue Planet II. And, last but not least, there’s the final ever outing for one Jessica Jones…
