Netflix is hatching some big treats for Christmas, including a sequel to Chicken Run, Bradley Cooper’s awards contender Maestro, Zack Snyder’s big-budget sci-fi epic Rebel Moon and star-studded apocalyptic drama Leave the World Behind. For those looking for box sets to binge over the holidays, there’s a Money Heist spin-off and the final chapter of The Crown to unwrap.

Fisk: Season 2 – 1st December

This unassuming Aussie comedy is a gently amusing and sharply observed treat.

Gosford Park – 1st December

Rebel Moon – Part One – 22nd December

After crash landing on a moon in the furthest reaches of the universe, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a stranger with a mysterious past, begins a new life among a peaceful settlement of farmers. But she soon becomes their only hope for survival when the tyrannical Regent Balisarius (Fra Fee) and his cruel emissary, Admiral Noble (Ed Skrein), discover the farmers have unwittingly sold their crops to the Bloodaxes (Cleopatra Coleman and Ray Fisher) — leaders of a fierce group of insurgents hunted by the Motherworld. The first part of Zack Snyder’s sci-fi epic.

Ricky Gervais: Armageddon – 25th December

Ricky Gervais dishes out controversial takes on political correctness and oversensitivity in his new special about the end of humanity.

Star Trek: Prodigy: Season 1 – 25th December

Developed by Kevin and Dan Hageman (Trollhunters and Ninjago), the CG-animated series Star Trek: Prodigy is the first Star Trek series aimed at younger audiences, and follows a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search of a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship they have commandeered – a first in the history of the Star Trek franchise – but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.

Berlin: Season 1 – 29th December

Some heists, like some love stories, are irresistible. From the world of Money Heist comes this spin-off that follows Berlin (Pedro Alonso) long before he takes the Royal Mint of Spain Hostage.
