Disney’s Netflix rival is here, serving up Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar originals, along with a post-modern revamp of High School Musical and every episode of The Simpsons.

The final season of Love, Victor arrives this June, accompanied by fellow returning series Only Murders in the Building Season 2 and Atlanta Season 3. But it’s the new titles that perhaps hold the most interest, from the arrival of Ms Marvel to Fire Island, a rom-com inspired by Pride and Prejudice and starring Joel Kim Booster and SNL’s Bowen Yang.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Disney+ UK in June 2022:

Abbott Elementary: Season 1 – 1st June

A workplace comedy following a group of dedicated, passionate teachers – and a slightly tone-deaf principal – as they navigate the Philadelphia public school system. Despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life, and though these incredible public servants may be outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do – even if they don’t love the school district’s less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children. Written by and starring Quinta Brunson.

Killing Eve S1 – 1st June

A chance to catch up with the first – and best – season of the spy thriller, starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer as Eve, a jaded intelligence officer, and Villanelle, the assassin Eve is tasked with capturing. As the cat-and-mouse chase pursues, a mutual obsession begins to form.

The Orville: Season 3 – 2nd June

Seth MacFarlane’s sci-fi comedy returns to continue the tale of a spaceship 400 years in the future.

Titanic (1997) – 3rd June

Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio are on iconic form in James Cameron’s superbly sentimental blockbuster.

The Sixth Sense (1999) – 3rd June

Bruce Willis delivers one of his best turns in M Night Shyamalan’s superbly atmospheric chiller about a young boy (Haley Joel Osment) who starts to see dead people and the specialist attempting to help him.

Pride (2014) – 3rd June

This sincere tale of acceptance, support and celebration is an irresistible, feel-good gem.

Fire Island – 3rd June

Set in the iconic Pines, Andrew Ahn’s Fire Island is an unapologetic, modern day rom-com showcasing a diverse, multicultural examination of queerness and romance. Inspired by the timeless pursuits from Jane Austen’s classic Pride and Prejudice, the story centres around two best friends (Joel Kim Booster and Bowen Yang) who set out to have a legendary summer adventure with the help of cheap rosé and their cadre of eclectic friends.

Hollywood Stargirl – 3rd June

Hollywood Stargirl is a sequel to the 2020 Disney+ hit about free spirit Stargirl Caraway, a silver-voiced teenager whose simple acts of kindness work magic in the lives of others. The story follows Stargirl’s journey out of Mica, Arizona and into a bigger world of music, dreams and possibilities. When her mother Ana is hired as the costume designer on a movie, they relocate to L.A., where Stargirl quickly becomes involved with an eclectic assortment of characters. They include aspiring filmmaking brothers Evan and Terrell; Mr. Mitchell, one of Stargirl’s neighbours; and Roxanne Martel, a musician Stargirl admires and encounters on her journey.

Ms Marvel: Season 1 – 8th June

Ms. Marvel is a new series that introduces Kamala Khan – a 16-year-old Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City. A great student, avid gamer and voracious fan-fiction scribe, she has a special affinity for superheroes, particularly Captain Marvel. But Kamala struggles to fit in at home and at school – that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life is easier with superpowers, right?

Family Reboot: Season 1 – 15th June

Family Reboot follows families that have become so busy with their individual lives, whether it’s from a busy job, going back to school, after school activities, keeping up with social media, sports or running a business, that they have lost touch with one another. In each episode, a family takes a full week away from their busy schedules to go on a journey to reconnect and rebuild their family bonds. Leaving their phones, laptops, and all other devices behind, they must find their way to their week-long accommodations the “old fashioned way”, with just a paper map in hand. On

Rise – 24th June

After emigrating to Greece from Nigeria, Vera and Charles Antetokounmpo struggled to survive and provide for their five children, while living under the daily threat of deportation. Trevor: The Musical – 24th June

This filmed Off-Broadway musical follows a charming 13-year-old on a turbulent journey of self-discovery. After an embarrassing incident at school, Trevor must summon the courage to forge his own path

Borg vs McEnroe (2017) – 24th June

This smashing sports biopic is hit home by a pair of ace performances.

Only Murders in the Building: Season 2 – 28th June

Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles, Oliver and Mabel race to unmask her killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications ensue: the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny’s homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbours who all think they committed murder. Episodes 1 and 2 arrive together, followed by new episodes weekly.

Atlanta: Season 3 – 29th June

Taking place almost entirely in Europe, Season 3 of Atlanta finds Earn, Alfred / “Paper Boi”, Darius and Van in the midst of a successful European tour, as the group navigates their new surroundings as outsiders, and struggle to adjust to the newfound success they had aspired to.

Soprano: Sing or Die – Date TBC

The story behind France’s best-selling artist Soprano combines the universe of Validé, France’s most watched local scripted series of 2020, with the narrative style of The Last Dance, and sets it under the Marseille sun. This unknown tale maps a journey to a triple diamond album, and a star who shaped the future of French music.
