Disney+ is unwrapping blockbuster treats for the family this Christmas, with the arrival of Indiana Jones and Percy Jackson, plus the return of Marvel’s What If? animated series.

The line-up comes as Disney+ changes its tiers to include adverts – ranging from the standard with ads (£4.98 a month), standard without ads (£7.99 a month) and premium (£10.99 a month).

Here’s what’s coming soon to Disney+ UK in December 2023:

The Shepherd – 1st December

A young pilot flying home finds himself in peril when his radio and electric power cut out, leaving him stranded and running on limited fuel. Just when it appears his luck is about to run out, a mysterious good Samaritan guides him to safety.

The Naughty Nine – 1st December

When Andy finds out he’s on Santa’s naughty list, he pulls together a group of naughty list kids to get the presents they think they deserve in this festive heist.

Theater Camp – 6th December

Ben Platt and Molly Gordon star in the original comedy as Amos and Rebecca-Diane – lifelong best friends and drama instructors at a scrappy camp in upstate New York. After the indomitable and beloved founder of the camp falls into a coma, its eccentric staff must band together with her clueless “crypto-bro” son to keep the thespian paradise afloat.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever – 8th December

After getting stuck with his family in the snow during his winter vacation, Greg worries about getting a new video game console.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny – 15th December

Harrison Ford returns to the role of the legendary hero archaeologist, Indiana Jones, for this highly anticipated final instalment of the iconic franchise – a big, globe-trotting, rip-roaring adventure!

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Season 1 – 20th December

Percy Jackson is on a dangerous quest. Outrunning monsters and outwitting gods, he must journey across America to return Zeus’ master bolt and stop an all-out war. With the help of his quest mates Annabeth and Grover, Percy’s journey will lead him closer to the answers he seeks: how to fit into a world where he feels out of place, and find out who he’s destined to be. Episodes 1 and 2 arrive together, followed by episodes weekly.

What If? Season 2 – 22nd December

Season 2 of the animated series continues the journey as The Watcher guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU. The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles. Featuring fan-favourite characters this season like Nebula, Hela and Happy Hogan, episodes are directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews with executive producer AC Bradley as head writer. Episodes arrive nightly.
