Apple TV+ lands a starry new thriller this June, with Idris Elba getting hijacked mid-air – joined by a more grounded drama starring Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried. Meanwhile, two shows return and City on Fire and Silo both reach their finales.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Apple TV+ UK in June 2023:

The Crowded Room – 9th June

Starring and executive produced by Tom Holland, this 10-episode series follows Danny Sullivan, a man who is arrested following his involvement in a shooting in New York City in 1979. Told through a series of interviews with curious interrogator Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried), Danny’s life story unfolds, revealing elements of the mysterious past that shaped him, and the twists and turns that will lead him to a life-altering revelation. Episodes 1 to 3 arrive together, followed by weekly episodes until the finale on 28th July.

The Snoopy Show: Season 3 – 9th June

The world’s most famous beagle is back again for his close-up! Dig into new adventures with Snoopy, along with his best pal, Woodstock, and the rest of the Peanuts gang. All 12 episodes arrive together.

Swagger: Season 2 – 23rd June

This sports drama helmed by creator, showrunner and director Reggie Rock Bythewood is inspired by NBA superstar Kevin Durant’s experiences. It explores the world of youth basketball, and the players, their families and coaches who walk the fine line between dreams and ambition, and opportunism and corruption. Off the court, the show reveals what it’s like to grow up in America. Episode 1 debuts on 23rd June with episodes arriving weekly through to the finale on 11th August.

Hijack: Season 1 – 28th June

Starring and exec-produced by the Luther actor, the seven-part series is created by George Kay (Lupin, Criminal) and Jim Field Smith (Criminal). Told in real time, it follows the journey of a hijacked plane as it makes its way to London over a seven-hour flight, and authorities on the ground scramble for answers. Elba will star as Sam Nelson, an accomplished negotiator in the business world who needs to step up and use all his guile to try and save the lives of the passengers — but, his high-risk strategy could be his undoing. The first two episodes land together, followed by weekly episodes until the finale on 2nd August.
