For the second year in a row, Apple TV+ is dropping a star-studded Christmas comedy film in December – and adding a sing-along version of last year’s festive original flick for good measure. For families, there are animated specials galore to unwrap, while for those looking for non-Christmas entertainment, there’s a documentary series about John Lennon.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Apple TV+ UK in December 2023:

Shape Island: The Winter Blues – 1st December

In this Christmas episode of the stop-motion series, the chilly season leaves Square feeling sad, so Circle and Triangle try to cheer him up by creating a new holiday: Yeti Night.

Frog and Toad: Christmas Eve – 1st December

In this festive special, Frog and Toad are looking forward to spending the winter holiday together, but a last-minute errand into town sidetracks Frog, causing Toad to wonder if his best friend will make it home in time.

The Snoopy Show: Happiness is Holiday Traditions – 1st December

Snoopy searches for the perfect tree topper; Woodstock gets trapped in a window display; and Snoopy and Woodstock visit Spike for Christmas.

Spirited: Sing-Along Version – 1st December

Unafraid to unwrap its holiday original film twice, Apple drops a sing-along version of the musical comedy, so you can join in with the numbers penned by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land), such as Good Afternoon and Bringin’ Back Christmas.

John Lennon: Murder Without a Trial: Season 1 – 6th December

For the first time, key figures from John Lennon’s life and death — including friends, doctors and investigators — share personal memories and reveal what happened on the night of his killing in this three-part docuseries.

The Family Plan – 15th December

Dan Morgan (Mark Wahlberg) loves his quiet suburban life as a devoted husband, father of three and successful car salesman. But that’s only half the story. Decades earlier, he was an elite government assassin tasked with eliminating the world’s deadliest threats. When enemies from his past track him down, Dan packs his unsuspecting wife (Michelle Monaghan), angsty teen daughter, pro-gamer teen son and adorable 10-month-old baby into their minivan and takes off on an impromptu cross-country road trip to Las Vegas. Determined to protect his family — while treating them to the vacation of a lifetime — Dan must put his long-dormant skills into action, without revealing his true identity.

A Charlie Brown Christmas – 16th and 17th December

Once again, Apple makes this beloved animated special available for free for a weekend. Feeling down about the commercialism of Christmas, Charlie Brown becomes the director of the gang’s holiday play. Can he overcome his friends’ preference for dancing over acting, find the “perfect” tree and discover the true meaning of Christmas?

Sago Mini Friends: New Year’s Steve – 22nd December

In this holiday special, Harvey makes a wish to stay awake until midnight when a firefly swoops in to help — and kickstarts a scavenger hunt for the whole crew.
