What’s coming soon to All 4 in November 2019?

All 4 is bundling up for the autumn and winter, with a stuffed selection of box sets and treats to keep you warm on the sofa this November. Channel 4’s catch-up service has stepped up its investment in box sets in recent months, securing the rights to shows such as 30 Rock, ER and Community.
This month, there’s the cult classic Freaks and Geeks to binge, but there’s also coming-of-age dramedy Sugar Rush, comedy PhoneShop and Channel 4’s annual Indian film season, which showcases 10 films (curated by Indian cinema expert Nasreen Kabir) across seven weeks to present a cross-section of the best contemporary and classic Indian cinema.

Walter Presents: The Team: Season 2 – Available Now
This hit series, which debuted on Walter Presents in 2017, was the international detective crossover event of the year, withDanish homicide detective Harald Bjørn (Lars Mikkelsen), Belgian homicide detective Alicia Verbeek (Veerle Baetens), and German Federal Criminal Police superintendent Jackie Müller (Jasmin Gerat) teaming up to solve crimes across borders. Season 2 keeps the same premise but swaps in a different cast. When seven people are shot dead at an illegal immigrant halfway house in Denmark, Europol’s new Joint Investigation Team brings detectives from three different countries together to track down the perpetrators before international disaster strikes.
New episodes arrive on Fridays, following their broadcast on More4.
Box Set: Sugar Rush: Season 1 and 2 – Available Now
The BAFTA nominated cult-hit Sugar Rush explores the life, loves and lusts of Kim Daniels, a teenage lesbian living in 21st century Britain. Based on the novel by Julie Burchill, Kim’s wry observations, her experiences of forbidden love for her best friend Sugar, and her attempts to come to grips with a rather dysfunctional family will take you on a coming-of-age journey.
Indian Film Season: Veere Di Wedding – Available Now
In a female buddy movie, which is a little bit Friends meets Sex and the City, a group of independent women navigate married life and refuse to conform to gender stereotypes.
Nachom-Ia Kumpasar – Available Now
Goa’s 1960’s unsung jazz musicians take centre stage in A Star Is Born story with an Indian twist, featuring an award-winning performance from actress Palomi Ghosh.
Box Set: PhoneShop – Available Now
PhoneShop centres on the working day of the employees of a mobile phone shop. With more pressure than ever to sell (and mis-sell), the staff of the Sutton branch of PhoneShop need to be completely focussed and at the top of their game. Unfortunately, there is a myriad of distractions stopping Ashley (Andrew Brooke), Jerwayne (Javone Prince), Janine (Emma Fryer), Christopher (Tom Bennett) and manager Lance (Martin Trenaman) from making sure every shopper within five square miles gets locked down to the tightest and most expensive mobile phone contract known to mankind.

Celebrated hard-hitting director Anurag Kashap delivers a lighter tale in a modern love triangle with a young, free-living group of characters set against the colourful backdrop of Amritsar in the Punjab.
Box Set: First Dates: Season 13 – 12th November
The BAFTA award-winning series is back and for the first time the full season will be available to stream on All 4 immediately after Episode 1 has been broadcast on Channel 4. The First Dates restaurant is re-opening its doors in timely fashion to a brand-new crop of hopeful singletons looking to find love on a real blind date. Maître D Fred and his team of cupids welcome their guests and love is at the top of the menu.
Indian Film Season: Satyakam – 13th November
Winding back the clock (1969), is a moving drama from the late sixties that was much appreciated in its time. In 1945, as India’s Independence looms, Satyapriya – a man of high principles – dreams of building a new country but his moral certainty ends up being shaken forever.
Box Set: Freaks and Geeks – 15th November
The universal experience of teen hood as lived by the freaks and geeks in a Michigan high school, circa 1980, is the subject of this comedy-drama executive produced by Emmy-winner Judd Apatow. Focussing on the lives of siblings Lindsay and Sam Weir, the show looks at the everyday fears, humiliations and triumphs of adolescent’s past, present and futures. First airing in 1999, it saw career-birthing roles for Linda Cardellini (ER / Dead to Me), John Francis Daley (Bones), Seth Rogen (Knocked Up / Pineapple Express), James Franco (127 Hours / Spiderman trilogy) and Busy Phillips (Dawson’s Creek / Cougar Town).
Indian Film Season: Nude – 15th November
Current Independent Indian cinema continues to flourish and, in this tale, a young mother down on her luck takes a job as a cleaner in an art school. In order to make enough money for her son’s college fees, she decides to pose as a nude life model for the art students, despite the shame it may bring.
Indian Film Season: Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi – 20th November
A madcap caper of mistaken identities, with the action moving from Shanghai to Amritsar, hapless criminals kidnap the wrong person in Mudassar Aziz’s jet setting romantic sequel Happy Runs Away Again.
Box Set: Anger Management: Season 1 and 2 – 22nd November
Charlie Goodson is a former baseball player. In his final game, he gave himself a career-ending injury when he tried to snap a bat over his leg in anger. Following his own anger therapy, he becomes a non-traditional anger management therapist running a successful private practice whilst holding volunteer counselling for an inmate group at a state prison. On top of this, his life is complicated by an ex-wife, an ex-therapist and a teenage daughter who has obsessive-compulsive disorder. Anger Management stars Charlie Sheen (Two and A Half Men), Selma Blair (Legally Blonde) and Shawnee Smith (SAW).
Indian Film Season: Kapurush – 22nd November
A subtle, moving chamber piece of lost love and atonement, a quiet film that leaves a significant emotional impression. This remastered film is a classic example of Ray’s unforgettable filmmaking and a must for all lovers of Satyajit Ray’s films.
Indian Film Season: Tanu Weds Manu – 28th November
Manu is young and successful and returning to India after working in London to meet potential brides. When he sees Tanu it’s love at first sight, but Tanu is already in love with the maverick Raja and intends to elope with him. Naturally struggles of the heart ensue.
VICE: Danny’s House – 29th November
Rapper and songwriter Danny Brown invites celebrity friends and unconventional neighbours into his basement for the ultimate hangout session. Throughout this new VICE series, themes such as music, fashion, artificial intelligence and high school memories are discussed by guests including rapper A$AP Rocky, comedian Nicky Glaser and wrestling legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
