The Lie: Amazon unveils trailer for Blumhouse horror

Amazon has unveiled the trailer for its new Blumhouse horror The Lie.
The film forms part of a new initiative between Amazon Studios and Blumhouse Television called Welcome to the Blumhouse. The partnership is designed to showcase original genre stories from diverse casts and filmmakers, and the first quartet of original genre studios in the partnership are arriving in time for Halloween.
Written and Directed by Veena Sud, it follows two desperate parents who, when their teenaged daughter confesses to impulsively killing her best friend, attempt to cover up the horrific crime, leading them into a complicated web of lies and deception.
Starring Mireille Enos, Peter Sarsgaard and Joey King, the film premieres on Amazon Prime Video on 6th October.
