“You don’t hurt the people you love.” That’s the sound of Netflix bringing four leading Indian directors together for a profound new anthology.
After celebrating a century of Indian cinema with Bombay Talkies in 2013, filmmakers Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap are reuniting a string of films that explore varied dimensions of love, lust, power and status.
The anthology will examine contemporary relationships through four intriguing stories, portraying romance through the eyes of the women in the stories, and what they want. The result is Lust Stories, and you can see it in full on Friday 15th June, when it premieres on Netflix worldwide.
Here’s a trailer:
Lust Stories is available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.
