Creep 2 is coming soon to UK VOD

Creep 2 will be available to watch online in the UK this Halloween, as Peachfuzz prepares to return to our screens.
The name alone will conjure up chilling memories of 2014’s found footage horror, Creep, which starred Mark Duplass as an unnervingly friendly serial killer. Now, years after that film become a breakout hit on Netflix, indie production company The Orchard (co-founded by Mark and his brother Jay Duplass) has confirmed that a sequel is officially on the way, with Duplass returning to reprise his role.
He will be joined by Desiree Akhavan as Sara, an artist whose new video project involves “creating intimacy with lonely men” – a recipe that brings her into contact with Duplass’ disturbing psychopath. Knowing full well what and how he is, she embarks on a quest to create a shocking piece of art, which promises all kinds of power play and unnerving social dynamics.
“There’s simply something… off about him – an unsettling aura that is built up through tiny details and small gestures,” we wrote in our review of the first film. “It’s all about this interaction between the two characters, a relationship that is twisted and played with by both performers… Subtle and smart, Creep repeatedly crosses the boundary between silly and sinister. It means to scare you. And it’s not sorry.”

Duplass announced the news on social media yesterday. Brice, who co-starred and helmed the original, will once again return as director and co-writer of the project, with Carolyn Craddock producing and Blumhouse’s Jason Blum exec producing alongside the Duplass Brothers, Mel Eslyn, Chris Donlon and Josh Braun.
The film will be released on digital HD internationally on Tuesday 24th October, before arriving on Netflix shortly afterwards. The first Creep, meanwhile, is currently available on Netflix.
