It’s all about romantic sparks this June on Netflix, with the second part of Bridgerton Season 3, the release of Glen Powell and Richard Linklater’s Hit Man and a new rom-com starring Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron. Plus there’s the final chapter of Sweet Tooth, new series from Joko Anwar and Rapman, plus a shark is on the loose in Paris.

The Contractor – 5th June

An assassin (Chris Pine) comes out of retirement to take down one last target. But when the mission goes wrong, he receives unexpected help from an orphaned tween.

The Hour: Season 1 to 2 – 5th June

Both seasons of the hugely underrated drama set behind the scenes of a 1950s BBC current affairs programme. Starring Ben Whishaw, Dominic West and Romola Garai, created by Abi Morgan.

Under Paris – 5th June

In order to save Paris from an international bloodbath, a grieving scientist is forced to face her tragic past when a giant shark appears in the Seine.

Sweet Tooth: Season 3 – 6th June

Prepare for the epic conclusion of the beloved, award-winning series.

Hit Man – 7th June

Inspired by the unbelievable true story, a strait-laced professor (Glen Powell) uncovers his hidden talent as a fake hit man in undercover police stings. He meets his match in a client (Adria Arjona) who steals his heart and ignites a powder keg of deception, delight, and mixed-up identities. Directed By Richard Linklater.

Joko Anwar’s Nightmares and Daydreams: Season 1 – 14th June

Joko Anwar’s new supernatural sci-fi chronicles the journey of a group of ordinary people trying to save humanity from those who wish to take over the world. The story is told across seven episodes, each spotlighting a key character dealing with extraordinary events that span from 1985 to 2024. While seemingly random, these peculiar incidents are interconnected, offering insights into the origins of our world and the looming threats to humanity.

Trigger Warning – 21st June

Supacell: Season 1 – 27th June

Tossin Cole stars in Rapman’s new series about five ordinary people who unexpectedly develop superpowers. They have little in common except for one thing: they are all Black South Londoners. It is down to one man, Michael Lasaki, to bring them all together to save the woman he loves.

That ’90s Show: Part 2 – 27th June

Hello Wisconsin! Leia Forman is back in her grandparents’ basement with her Point Place friends. It’s the summer of 1996, which means the gang is a year older and a year wiser – or so you’d hope. Now that school is out, this leaves room for more hook-ups, break-ups, and as much trouble as the friends can get into behind Red and Kitty’s backs.

The Mole: Season 2 – 28th June

Before The Traitors there was this reality competition series, which Netflix revived back in 2022. Now, it returns for a second season, as 12 more players complete challenges while trying to identify the one among them who’s sabotaging their missions

A Family Affair – 28th June

Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron and Joey King star in Richard Lagravenese’s romantic comedy about Zara, who discovers that something is going on between her mum and her former boss.
