What’s leaving Amazon Prime Video UK in February / March 2019?
James R | On 15, Feb 2019
We’re almost three months into 2019, but time shows no sign of slowing down – and one of the best indicators of that is that things continue slip away from your favourite subscription service at the end of each month. That means you haven’t got long to see why people were wrong about Chappie, catch up with the beginnings of the Before Sunrise trilogy or enjoy some of DC’s underrated animated offerings.
This is your last chance to stream the following on Amazon Prime Video UK:
Chappie – 17th February
Ignore the haters: Neill Blomkamp’s sci-fi about a sentient robot is an enjoyable, underrated and thought-provoking blockbuster.
Matilda – 17th February
Loved the stage show? Then now’s the perfect time to revisit Danny DeVito’s pitch-perfect screen adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic tale.
Before Sunrise – 24th February
Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy star in Richard Linklater’s swooningly believable tale of two young strangers who meet on a train in Europe and decide to spend the night in Vienna.
Magnolia – 24th February
Paul Thomas Anderson’s fascinating tapestry of humans in varying states of existential and emotional crisis is essential viewing, not least because of its career-best performance from Tom Cruise.
Wonder Woman – 28th February
A whole host of DC animated movies are set to depart Amazon Prime this month, but most missed will perhaps be this 2009 take on Wonder Woman, directed by Lauren Montgomery. In the past, these have been renewed and remained on Amazon Prime, or returned at a later date, but if you need your DCAU fix, don’t miss your chance. (The good news? The TV series aren’t leaving any time soon.)
