“You know what takes real courage?”
That’s the sound of House of Cards Season 3 rearing its head for the first full trailer. And if Season 1 and Season 2 were intense, this new trailer wastes no time in making its intentions clear. A relentless montage of dramatic stares, sinister silences and Frank Underwood and Claire Underwood looking like the picture-perfect political power couple.
The trailer arrives hot on the heels of Kevin Spacey’s first ever Golden Globe win for Best Actor in a TV drama – and follows Robin Wright’s equal award from last year’s Globes.
“When the stakes are this high, Frank and Claire Underwood have but one option: fight to stay on top,” reads the only official synopsis of the show released so far.

House of Cards Season 3 arrives on Netflix UK on Friday 27th February.
