“Their nightmare is you and I fighting together.” That’s the sound of Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon returning to our screens, and a new trailer gives us a closer look at Part 2.

The first part followed Kora (Sofia Boutella), who – after crash landing on a moon in the furthest reaches of the universe – began a new life among a peaceful settlement of farmers. But she became their only hope for survival when the tyrannical Regent Balisarius (Fra Fee) and his cruel emissary, Admiral Noble (Ed Skrein), discovered the farmers had sold their crops to the Bloodaxes (Cleopatra Coleman and Ray Fisher) — leaders of a fierce group of insurgents hunted by the galaxy-ruling Motherworld.

Part Two: The Scargiver continues the epic saga as Kora and the surviving warriors prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend their once-peaceful village. On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made.

Netflix has unveiled the first teaser trailer for Rebel Moon: Part 2, giving us a first glimpse of the concluding half of Zack Snyder’s sci-fi epic.

The film follows Kora (Sofia Boutella), who – after crash landing on a moon in the furthest reaches of the universe – begins a new life among a peaceful settlement of farmers. Landing on Netflix just in time for Christmas, the film became the streamer’s most-watched film worldwide in that week. Now, Netflix is readying for Part 2, which will continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld. On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight.
