Veep Season 7 set for April UK premiere

Veep Season 7 will premiere on UK TV this April, making sure that fans won’t have to wait long for its final ever season.
Created by Armando Iannucci, the comedy takes a sharp, satirical look at the insular world of Washington politics, following the whirlwind day-to-day existence of Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) as she puts out political fires in her public and private life.
Winner of 17 Emmys and numerous other accolades, the saga of the former-vice president (and very brief president) comes to an end with its seventh run – but not before she has one last run at the presidency.
Selina is once again out to seize her rightful turn in the highest office in the land, despite the flubs and scandals that have followed her and her staff for years. Coming along for the ride are Selina’s loyal band of misfits, save Mike, who has been banished from her orbit. As the final season opens, we find Selina and the gang on the campaign trail in early primary states, wooing uber-wealthy donors while navigating threats from primary challengers and old nemeses.
The seven-episode premieres on Sunday 31st March on HBO in the US, but fans in the UK will only have to wait a few days, with the first episode debuting on Sky Atlantic on Wednesday 3rd April. Episodes will air at 10.10pm on Sky Atlantic, arriving weekly. Here’s the trailer:
