Sofie Hagens and Matt Hewins are among the names featured in a new online comedy festival streaming over the coming week.
Upload Comedy Festival will run from Wednesday 17th June to Thursday 25th June, with a new act every night presenting never-before-seen sets.
The line-up includes Edinburgh Comedy Awards nominees and winners as well as TV regulars on shows such as Live at the Apollo. All the shows are custom created, including Edinburgh Award Winner Jordan Brookes, who will be seeking a mass apology, Fern Brady, who will come together with some of the brightest rising stars in comedy, and Sofie Hagen talking about what matters to her.
The event kicks off with Tessa Coates and Alfie Brown bin a double-bill on Wednesday 17th June, with another double-bill on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, before Hagen closes out the festival on Thursday 25th June.
Tickets cost £6 per show, offering one-month on-demand access to the show. £1 for every ticket sold goes straight to the Coronavirus Careworkers Fund. You can stream each show at www.comedyfestivalonline.com/. Here’s the line-up:
