FOX has released a new UK trailer for Agent Carter ahead of its premiere on 12th July.
Marvel’s spin-off sees Hayley Atwell reprise her role as SHIELD’s finest female agent, as Peggy is contacted by Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper), who has been framed for unleashing his deadliest weapons to anyone willing to pony up the cash. He contacts Carter – the only person he can trust – to track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons and clear his name.
Alongside Atwell are James D’Arcy as Stark’s butler, Edwin Jarvis, who is tasked with assisting Peggy’s investigation, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson and Shea Whigham as Chief Roger Dooley.
The series, which has been popular in the US since its debut earlier this year, initially struggled to find a broadcaster, but FOX UK will now finally bring Agent Carter to British shores with a confirmed UK release date of Sunday 12th July.
Season 1 will premiere at 9pm on Sunday nights, with FOX UK available on Sky, Virgin Media, TalkTalk, BT and UPC. For non-pay TV customers, Agent Carter will also be available to watch online legally through NOW
Sky’s VOD service gives viewers contract-free access to Sky TV channels, such as Sky Atlantic, as well as FOX UK. Shows are available to watch live online alongside their TV broadcast, as well as post-broadcast on-demand, for £6.99 a month.
For new customers, NOW has temporarily slashed its price to £1 for the first month – a deal that will expire on 28th June. For more information, click here.
In the meantime, here’s the new trailer for the show.
