“How’s camp going for you?” “Total nightmare.” That’s the sound of Big Mouth taking on another important milestone in its fourth season, and a new trailer gives us a first look at the show’s return.
Created by Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg, the adult animation continues to the growing pains of life into literal monsters with foul mouths and bizarre habits. And so, following the Hormone Monsters, the Shame Wizard and Menopause Banshee will be Tito the Anxiety Mosquito, which strikes as the kids – including Andrew (John Mulaney), his best friend, Nick (Kroll), Gina (Gina Rodriguez), Missy (Jenny Slate) and Jessi (Jessi Klein) – head to camp.
This season will notably see Jenny Slate step down from voicing Missy, to be replaced by Ayo Edibiri, who can be heard in the role from the penultimate episode. Also joining the cast will be a host of guest stars, including Zach Galifianakis as the Gratitoad, John Oliver as a camp counsellor, Seth Rogen, Josie Totah, Lena Waithe, Quinta Brunson, Sterling K Brown, Paul Giamatti, Maya Erskine, Anna Konkle and Maria Bamford as Tito.
Season 4 will premiere on Netflix on 4th December. Here’s the trailer:
Big Mouth is available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.
