Two for the Money: Apple acquires Daniel Craig, Charlize Theron heist thriller

Apple has picked up a high-profile package in the form of Two for the Money.
The heist thriller is based on an original idea by Justin Lin, the high-octane helmer known for his work on the Fast & Furious franchise, and Fast X co-writer Dan Mazeau. It follows two career thieves whose relationship spans the course of three big jobs.
Lin has scored two big names to star in the film: Charlize Theron, who worked with Lin on Fast X (which he produced), and Daniel Craig. Neither is a stranger to streaming, with Theron leading Netflix’s The Old Guard (including an upcoming sequel) and Craig starring in Netflix’s Knives Out 2 (and, again, an upcoming sequel).
Two for the Money is being developed by Lin’s Perfect Storm Entertainment, Theron’s Denver & Delilah banner, and Jeff Kirschebaum and Joe Roth’s RK Films. The combination of talent involved has made for a desirable package, and Apple came out on top in a bidding war for the project this week. Apple Studios will serve as the studio .
