Trailer: Vicious Fun streams on Shudder UK this June

Shudder UK has Vicious Fun lined up for this June, and a new clip and trailer give us a look at the horror comedy.
Cody Calahan’s bloody blast from the past follows Joel (Evan Marsh), a caustic 1980s film critic for a national horror magazine who finds himself unwittingly trapped in a self-help group for serial killers. With no other choice, Joel attempts to blend in with his homicidal surroundings or risk becoming the next victim.
The film co-stars Amber Goldfarb (Appiness), Ari Millen (Orphan Black), Julian Richings (Shudder’s Anything For Jackson), Robert Maillet (Sherlock Holmes), Sean Baek (Killjoys), David Koechner (Anchorman), Alexa Rose Steele (Jann), Mark Gibson (Exit Humanity), Kristopher Bowman (Deep River: The Island) and John Fray (The Silence).
Balancing nostalgia, self-aware laughs and neon-soaked horror, the film is written by James Villeneuve and recently won the Audience Award and the Golden Raven at the 2021 Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival. It also streamed at the Glasgow Film Festival FrightFest earlier this year.
“This darkly entertaining ride does exactly what it says on the tin,” we wrote in our review.
Now, it’s set to be released exclusively on Shudder UK from 29th June. Read on below for a new clip and the trailer:
