Safelight, starring Juno Temple, will be available to watch online in the UK this May – a few days after it hits cinemas.
The film, directed by first-timer Tony Aloupis, follows a teenage boy and girl, as they go on a road trip in the late 1970s to photograph lighthouses along the California coast.
Juno Temple plays Vickie, a troubled runaway, whose path crosses with that of Charles (Evan Peters), a high-school senior with physical challenges. After Charles steps in to help Vickie during a fight with the dangerous Skid (Kevin Alejandro), the pair form an unlikely relationship.
But will the pair’s difficult lives allow them to find happiness? Rather than having to wait to see how their burgeoning romance turns out, those who can’t make it to cinemas on Friday 29th April can see Safelight online at home a few days later – the film will be released on digital HD and on DVD on Monday 2nd May.
