Trailer: Netflix to debut America: The Motion Picture

Netflix is rolling out the red carpet for America: The Motion Picture, and a new trailer gives us a look at the extremely tongue-in-cheek animation.
The revisionist history promises to unveil the origins of the USA, after years of the truth behind shrouded in mystery. Who built this ‘country tis of thee,’ and why? This cultural event gives one possible answer – by introducing us to a chainsaw-wielding George Washington, who assembles a team of rabble rousers — including beer-loving bro Sam Adams, famed scientist Thomas Edison, acclaimed horseman Paul Revere, and a very peed off Geronimo — to defeat Benedict Arnold and King James in the American Revolution.
Who will win? No one knows, but you can be sure of one thing: these are not your father’s Founding… er, Fathers.
Promising to be “completely true”, the film stars Channing Tatum, Jason Mantzoukas, Olivia Munn, Judy Greer, Bobby Moynihan, Raoul Max Trujillo, Killer Mike, Andy Samberg, Will Forte and Simon Pegg. You can see them in action on 30th June. Here’s the trailer:
America: The Motion Picture is available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.
