Netflix is reuniting with Harlan Coben for a New Year’s Day box set, and a new trailer gives us a first look at the thriller Missing You.
Adapted by Victoria Asara-Archer (who penned two episodes of Netflix’s hit Coben adaptation Stay Close), the series will follow detective Kat Donovan who sees her estranged fiancé on a dating app. Eleven years ago, Josh – the love of Kat’s life – disappeared and she’s never heard from him since. Josh’s reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.
The series is directed by Sean Spencer, with Isher Sahota serving as second director. Victoria Asare-Archer serves as exec-producer alongside Coben, Nicola Shindler, Richard Fee and Danny Brocklehurst.
In front of the camera, Coben regular Richard Armitage (Fool Me Once) will be joined by Rosalind Eleazar (Slow Horses, Harlots) as Kat, Ashley Walters (Top Boy, Bulletproof) as Josh, Jessica Plummer (EastEnders, The Decameron) as Stacey Embalo, Lenny Henry (Three Little Birds, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power) as Clint Donovan, Steve Pemberton (Inside No9, Happy Valley) as Titus, Marc Warren (Safe, Sexy Beast) as Monte Leburne, Samantha Spiro (Sex Education, Ridley Road) as Nurse Sally Steiner, Lisa Faulkner (Archie, Unforgotten) as Dana Fells, Mary Malone (Doctor Who, The Prince) as Aqua, Matt Jay-Willis (Wolves of War, Love Is Blind UK) as Darryl and James Nesbitt (Stay Close, Bloodlands) as Calligan.
You can see them in action on 1st January 2025. Here’s the trailer:
