Trailer: Maisie Williams has Two Weeks to Live this September

Maisie Williams is heading to Sky One this September for new comedy Two Weeks to Live.
The six-part series follows Kim Noakes (Maisie Williams), a strange young misfit who was just a little girl when her father died in murky circumstances. Following his death, her mother Tina (Sian Clifford) whisked her away to a remote rural life of seclusion and bizarre survival techniques. Now all grown up, Kim sets out into the real world for the first time to begin a secret mission of honouring her father’s memory. Meanwhile, socially awkward Nicky (Mawaan Rizwan) isn’t good at impressing girls, and when Kim walks into his and brother Jay’s (Taheen Modak) local pub, it sets in motion a chaotic series of events that puts all their lives in danger. Who would have thought a few drinks and an ill-judged prank could go so violently wrong?
Tina arrives in search of Kim and the unlikely crew soon find themselves on the run from murderous gangsters and the police with a massive bag of stolen cash. But Kim is no ordinary fish out of water – she’s more like a great white shark who knows how to strip a Smith & Wesson SDVE pistol in 6 seconds flat and skin a deer to make a sleeping bag while perfectly reciting the lyrics to “I Will Survive”. With her on their team, they might all just get out of this alive.
Williams and Clifford are joined by Kerry Howard (Beth), Thalissa Teixeira (Thompson) and Jason Flemyng (Brooks), while behind the camera is writer Gaby Hull (Cheat). The series will premiere on Sky One on 2nd September, with all episodes available at once on-demand.
Trailer: Maisie Williams stars in Sky’s Two Weeks To Live
15th February 2020
Maisie Williams will star in new Sky series Two Weeks to Live and a trailer for the show gives us a proper look at her first major post-Game of Thrones TV role.
Williams plays Kim Noakes in the dark, Sky original comedy. Fifteen years after witnessing her father’s brutal murder, Kim escapes her controlling mum, Tina (Sian Clifford), and their isolated existence in the Scottish wilderness and heads south to England to find his killer…and just maybe find herself along the way. But the modern world isn’t what Kim imagined and when she meets hapless brothers, Nicky (Mawaan Rizwan) and Dave (Taheen Modak), a drunken prank goes spectacularly wrong. Now hunted by murderous criminals (Jason Flemyng and Thalissa Teixeira) working for gangster Jimmy Davies (Sean Pertwee), Kim must reunite with her overbearing Mum if they are all to survive.
The series will air on Sky One this year, joining 80 Sky original titles that will air in 2020, an increase of 25 per cent year-on-year from 2019, alongside a 40 per cent boost in the volume of programming from the US.
