“Someone burned down your house with you inside.” That’s the sound of Little Fires Everywhere coming to the UK, care of Amazon Prime Video.
Based on the best-selling novel by Celeste Ng, Little Fires Everywhere follows the residents of Shaker Heights, Ohio as a new mother and daughter arrive in town forcing the current residents to re-evaluate their lives. The story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood.
With Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington leading the cast, the show was one of the hottest tickets in town a while back, with a bidding war for the book’s rights eventually being won by Hulu. Now, after proving a hit earlier this year in the USA, it’s found a UK home, with Amazon Prime Video snapping up the rights and preparing to release it this month.
All episodes will premiere on 22nd May. Here’s the trailer:
Little Fires Everywhere is available to watch online on Amazon Prime Video as part of a Prime membership or a £5.99 monthly subscription.
