Season 3 of Lilyhammer lands on Netflix on Friday 21st November – and now we have a trailer to give us a first glimpse.
The comedy drama, which was picked up by Netflix following its debut on the BBC in the UK, continues the tale of monster Frank (Steven Van Zandt), who enters witness protection in the titular location.
Season 3 sees Roar (Steinar Sagen) travel to Brazil to meet his Internet bride from a Rio favela. Blinded by love, he finds himself tangled up with the law, and it’s up to Frank and Torgeir (Trond Fausa) to make things right. Assisted by the Norwegian Foreign Ministry, the collaboration between Frank and the foreign minister is anything but smooth. And, as if Frank doesn’t have enough challenges with his unruly bunch, a ghost resurfaces from the past – an American “family friend” who sees vast opportunities in Lillehammer for a man of his talents…
Series star Steven Van Zandt (The Sopranos), who already serves as executive producer, writer, actor and composer on the series, will make his directorial debut with the season finale.
