“Do you see what they’re doing to me?” That’s the sound of Colman Domingo embracing The Madness on Netflix – and new trailer gives us a first look at the thriller.
Domingo – who is no stranger to Netflix, having starred in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, plays media pundit Muncie Daniels (Colman Domingo), who must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon the murder of a well-known white supremacist deep in the Poconos woods.
Created by Stephen Belber, who serves at showrunner, the series follows the former political consultant as he’s framed for the crime and has to go on the run to clear his name and unravel a global conspiracy before time runs out. Along the way he’ll reconnect with his family, find unlikely allies, and fight against disinformation in a post-truth age.
Joining Domingo on screen are Marsha Stephanie Blake (When They See Us, Orange Is the New Black), Gabrielle Graham (Twenties, 21 Thunder), John Ortiz (Silver Linings Playbook), Tamsin Topolski (The Diplomat), and Thaddeus J Mixson.
You can see them in action on 28th November, when the series premieres on Netflix. Here’s the trailer:
