Trailer: LaKeith Stanfield stars in The Changeling

LaKeith Stanfield is heading to Apple TV+ this September, and a new trailer gives us a first look at The Changeling.
The eight-part drama, bsed on the acclaimed bestselling book of the same name by Victor LaValle, is a fairytale for grown-ups. A horror story, a parenthood fable and a perilous odyssey through a New York City you didn’t know existed.
Written and adapted by showrunner and executive producer Kelly Marcel, with a pilot episode directed by Melina Matsoukas, the series is exec-produced by Stanfield, who also stars. He’s joined in front of the camera by Clark Backo, Adina Porter, Samuel T. Herring, Alexis Louder, Jared Abrahamson, and special guest star Malcolm Barrett.
You can see them in action on Friday 8th September, when the first three episodes arrive together, followed by episodes weekly until the finale on 13th October.

Apple TV+ has given a series order for The Changeling, a new drama based on the best-selling book of the same name by Victor LaValle, with LaKeith Stanfield (Judas and the Black Messiah) attached to star and executive produce.
The Changeling is a fairytale for grown-ups. A horror story, a parenthood fable and a perilous odyssey through a New York City you didn’t know existed.
The series will be written and adapted by Kelly Marcel (Cruella, Venom), who will also serve as showrunner and executive producer. Melina Matsoukas (Queen & Slim) will direct and executive produce the series.
The series will be produced for Apple TV+ by Apple Studios and Annapurna. Megan Ellison, Sue Naegle, Patrick Chu and Ali Krug will executive produce on behalf of Annapurna. Matsoukas will executive produce through her De La Revolution Films, and Khaliah Neal will co-executive produce.
