The Biebers on Watch: Justin Bieber debuts new reality series on Facebook

Justin Bieber is about to spend a lot of time on Facebook during the coronavirus lockdown, with a new reality series debuting this week.

The 12-episode series, titled Biebers on Watch, will bring Facebook Watch viewers into the lives of Justin and his wife, Hailey, as they make their way through the pandemic and its social distancing lifestyle. Premiering on Monday 4th May, the series is filmed with GoPro cameras around the Biebers’ home and estate, with Episode 1 taking us to the lake their home is next to for some fishing anecdotes – your typical lockdown, this ain’t.

The series sees Bieber continue to step into the world of reality TV, after he released a docuseries on YouTube earlier this year, called Justin Bieber: Seasons – the first time he had ventured into such territory, and a show that also accompanied his first album in four years. Becoming the most-watched YouTube original in its first week, the series highlights just how strong Bieber’s crowd pull still is, even with his 2020 tour postponed due to the pandemic.

Together, the Biebers, who married in 2018, have around 240 million followers on Facebook, not to mention millions more on other social media platforms. Episodes will premiere on Facebook Watch on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9am PT (5pm UK time), running for a total of free weeks. Some Facebook Live videos will also stream on Fridays.
