Alistair Green: Volume One to stream online this Sunday

Alistair Green will be streaming his cinematic epic, Alistair Green: Volume One, online this Sunday.
The raconteur and paranoid recluse will be a familiar name for comedy fans, after being involved in Channel 4’s Flowers and Gameface, as well as Stath Lets Flats and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. But he’s become an online sensation in recent years thanks to his skits and short videos posted on social media, which often skewer commonplace social issues and prejudices – and, refreshingly, do not feature any coronavirus-based sketches whatsoever.
Last year, he decided to show all the social media videos he’s shot in his front room on an iPhone 10 on the big screen, for the first time. Two sold-out screenings followed at London’s Prince Charles Cinema, with Diane Morgan joining him to welcome fans and introduce the feature-length compilation. Now, a digital screening is taking place on Sunday 17th May for one night only.
The film will be streamed here at 8pm UK time, with a live Q&A following on YouTube at 9.30pm.
Tickets will cost £6, with £1 from every ticket going to Alistair’s chosen charity, Parkinson’s UK. NHS staff, care workers and anyone feeling financially unstable can register at the website for a free ticket. Questions for the Q&A can be submitted using the hashtag #AlistairGreenVol1.
