Yes, chef! The Bear will reportedly serve up a fourth season.
Created by Christopher Stoner (Ramy, Eighth Grade), the hit culinary drama follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young chef who leaves the world of fine dining to run the family sandwich shop, following the death of his brother. There, he clashes with his brother’s best friend, Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), who has been keeping the place going.
Season 2 dished up further drama and delectable meals, as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) worked to transform their grimy sandwich joint into a next-level spot.
The show was officially renewed for a third helping within weeks of Season 2’s debut on Disney+ in the UK. Now, sources have confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that a fourth course is already on the menu, with FX quietly greenlighting another round. The decision, which hasn’t been announced publicly, is reportedly so that Season 3 and 4 can film back to back, as in-demand stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach – and creator Christopher Storer – all find their schedules filling up with other projects.
That intense production schedule means that you can expect Season 3 to arrive on our screens later this year, with Season 4 likely to land in 2025.
The Bear will return for Season 3

The Bear will dish up a third course, Disney+ has announced.
Created by Christopher Stoner (Ramy, Eighth Grade), the FX drama is about food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty of Sense of Urgency and the steep slippery downsides. It follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young chef who leaves the world of fine dining to return home to return the family sandwich shop, following the death of his brother. There, he clashes with his brother’s best friend, Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), who has been keeping the place going.
Season 1 is currently nominated for 13 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series, with acting nominations including for Jeremy Allen White and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Season 2 followed Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they worked to transform their grimy sandwich joint into a next-level spot. As they stripped the restaurant down to its bones, the crew undertook transformational journeys of their own, each forced to confront the past and reckon with who they want to be in the future.
Of course, it turned out the only thing harder than running a restaurant was opening a new one, and the team had to juggle the insane bureaucracy of permits and contractors with the beauty and creative agony of menu planning. The transition brought a newfound focus on hospitality as well. As the entire staff was forced to come together in new ways, pushing the boundaries of their abilities and relationships, they also learned what it means to be in service, both to diners and each other.
Now, within weeks of Season 2 landing on Disney+ in the UK, the show has been officially renewed for a third season.
“’The Bear,’ which wowed audiences in its first season only to achieve even greater heights in season two, has become a cultural phenomenon,” said Nick Grad, President, FX Entertainment. “We’re so proud to partner with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. What they and the crew have done is truly remarkable, and we and our partners at Hulu and Disney+ join fans in looking forward to the next chapter in the story of ‘The Bear.’”
