ITV and TalkTalk have worked together to create a tailored package of the broadcaster’s content for its customers’ YouView boxes.
The bespoke catch-up package of over 200 hours of shows includes TV programmes such as Birds of a Feather, The Bletchley Circle, Celebrity Juice, Hell’s Kitchen USA and seven series of Lewis. It is available as part of TalkTalk’s TV “Boosts”, which are additional monthly bolt-ons that offer extra channels and content without an ongoing contract.
With Collections from ITV, TalkTalk TV is giving its 1.2 million homes access to British box sets and one-off shows spanning comedy, drama and entertainment. The boost costs £5 a month, with one month available for free.
Olivia Streatfeild from TalkTalk comments: “We are really excited to welcome more ITV shows to the TalkTalk Player through our new handpicked package. Collections from ITV gives customers simple, flexible and affordable access to more dramas, game shows and reality TV. This additional service is part of our commitment to make Britain better off by continuing to build on our award-winning content from all over the globe to ensure homes have a wealth of family entertainment at an affordable price.”
The announcement of Collections from ITV follows a similar deal between YouView from TalkTalk and NBC Universal, which has added US box sets to its pay monthly boosts through its exclusive “TVBox” package. TVBox gives customers access to Suits, Grimm and all seven seasons of 30 Rock, among other series.
Other boosts available include Sky Sports, Sky Movies, top US and UK entertainment channels and kids’ TV.
