From, a new horror mystery series, is landing on Sky Sci-Fi this summer.
The new channel, which rebrands from SyFy on 26th July, will kick off its new era in style with the debut of the new series that stars Harold Perrineau (LOST), Catalina Sandino Moreno (A Most Violent Year) and Eion Bailey (Band of Brothers).
From producer John Griffin and exec produced by LOST creators, Jack Bender and Jeff Pinkner, the 10-episode series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all who enter. Sci-fi watchers can expect to see unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, while they battle to survive the threats of the surrounding forest, filled with terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. The show has already been renewed for a second season.
Zai Bennett, Managing Director, Content Sky UK and Ireland, said: “We can’t wait for FROM to land on screens just in time for the Sky Sci-Fi channel revamp. The new series is a brilliant addition to the hours of content that will be on offer for science fiction and fantasy fans, and viewers are in for a treat with the mystery that’s about to unfold”.
From is a co-production between EPIX Studios and MGM International Television Productions and is produced by Midnight Radio and AGBO. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution and premiered in the US on EPIX.
It will be available as a full box set from 26th July.
