Short films coming soon to All 4 in July 2015

A new month usually heralds a new wave of movies and TV shows on Netflix, Amazon Prime, NOW and other subscription VOD services. But the start of July 2015 also marks a string of new short films for Channel 4’s All 4.
The broadcaster has enjoyed big success with its short-form content, with branding opportunities for sponsors and over 3 million views since its launch of a dedicated Shorts platform last summer.
From cosplay and vloggers to disabled fighters, here are this month’s new and upcoming short film releases.
Internet Famous – Out Now
Fame, money and trolls. In this six-episode series we meet the superstar YouTubers who share their lives online including Fleur de Force, Robin James, The Ugly Face Of Beauty, Niki & Sammy, Talk Becky Talk and Helen Anderson.
Becky quit a BBC presenter job to run her YouTube channel, alongside her mum and sister, while Robin’s hair and fashion channel is more influential than David Beckham – but he has found a downside to sharing his life online…
Man Vs Wave – Out Now
A four-episode series following Big Wave Surfer Al Mennie , an Irishman and pioneer, who has discovered and ridden numerous surf spots off the Irish coast and is now developing new ways of finding and surviving extreme surf. (Tune in for details of a top secret surf spot off the coast of Ireland that produces world-class giant waves.)
In the Future – Out Now
Tim Lovejoy has a passionate belief that the future is not all doom and gloom. In this provocative series, Tim shares his excitement in the science and technology that could change our future world for the better and meets the scientists and futurologists involved in making it happen. Disabled Fight Club – Thursday 2nd July
Disabled Fight Club is a six-part series showcasing six people who are battling their disabilities to participate in some of the most vicious contact sports found in the UK. Each episode provides an insight into the fighter’s world: their family, social group, their wider fighting environment and the unique physical challenges they face. Intense, up-close and personal, the series highlights the more solitary aspects of training…the individual determination, the sweat, and the focus.
