RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13 has finally got a UK release date, with episodes set to arrive on Netflix UK this Saturday.
Drag Race has become a veritable phenomenon in recent years, with RuPaul even giving fans a UK version of its own. With that soon returning on BBC Three, there’s no risk of running out of your drag queen fix – especially because it’s just a couple of days until Season 13 sashays until our screens.
The series, which sees queens strut their stuff in a bid to be crowned America’s drag superstar, will once again see a diverse group of contestants face off, judged by RuPaul and Michelle Visage, plus Carsson Kressley, Ross Matthews and celebrity guest judges.
Season 13 will open with six Lip-Sync for Your Life battles in a Lip-Sync extravaganza, while the show was filmed under Covid safety guidelines with a new socially distanced stage design.
Along with Gottmik from LA, the show’s first openly transgender male and AFAB contestant, the season’s contestants include Denali from Elliott with 2 Ts from Las Vegas, Joey Jay from Phoenix, Kahmora Hall from Chicago, Kandy Muse from New York City, LaLa Ri from Atlanta, Olivia Lux from Brooklyn, Rosé from New York City, Symone from Los Angeles, Tamisha Iman from Atlanta, Tina Burner from New York City, Utica Queen from Minneapolis.
Season 13 will premiere on Netflix UK on Saturday 2nd January, within hours of its US broadcast, with new episodes arriving weekly. Drag Race: Untucked, however, will not arrive until later in the year.
