Gentlemen, start your engines! Because RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars is returning to Netflix UK – and much sooner than you think.
Ever since Drag Race’s premiere back in 2009, the reality TV contest has won fans the world over, as it sees RuPaul hunt for America’s next drag superstar, decided by challenges including lip syncs and overseen by guest judges that vary each week. All Stars sees RuPaul bring back past Drag Race contestants to compete for a $100,000 prize a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
Previously, the series has been exclusive to Comedy Central in the UK, but since Season 4, the show has found a home on Netflix UK instead, and now, Season 6 is heading to Netflix in sync with its US broadcasts.
Episode 1 and 2 will drop on Thursday 24th June, with each subsequent episode then arriving weekly on Thursday afternoons.
Competing in Season 6 will be Jiggly Caliente, Kylie Sonique Love and Serena ChaCha, plus A’keria C Davenport, Eureka, Jan, Ra’Jah O’Hara, Scarlet Envy, Silky Nutmeg Ganache and Trinity K Bonet. They’ll be facing off against All Stars alumni Ginger Minj, Pandora Boxx and Yara Sofia.
Guest judges will include Emma Roberts, Tia Mowry, Aisha Tyler, Jamal Sims, Big Freedia, Justin Simien, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Charli XCX and Zaldy. Appearances will also be made by guests such as Angela Bassett, Alec Mapa, Cheyenne Jackson, Jermaine Fowler, Tanya Tucker, Fortune Feimster and – yes – The Muppets star Miss Piggy.
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Season 4 to 6 is available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.
