The trailer has been released for Rob Schneider’s new sitcom, Real Rob.

The Netflix series stars Schneider as, well, Rob Schneider, as the comedian and his family play themselves in a scripted comedy that follows his journey through the ups and downs of Hollywood.

The eight-episode show was unveiled by Netflix earlier this year, joining a long line of Netflix original comedies, such as Aziz Ansari’s Master of None and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Mixed with clips of his stand-up performances, the show will also feature cameos from Schneider’s showbiz friends, such as Norm Macdonald and George Lopez, to create “an exaggerated yet brutally honest depiction of Schneider’s real life”. That means you can expect everything from a younger Mexican wife and new baby to an “ever-present stalker” and a “completely incompetent assistant”.

All eight episodes will be released on Tuesday 1st December on Neflix UK, US, Canada, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand.
