Trailer: Bonding returns to Netflix for Season 2
David Farnor | On 18, Jan 2021
Bonding is returning to Netflix this month, and a new trailer gives us a first look at Season 2.
The dark comedy is based on the life experiences of Rightor Doyle (Barry, You’re the Worst, Nerve), who serves as writer, director, showrunner, and executive producer.
It follows grad student/dominatrix Tiff (Zoe Levin) and her cash-strapped gay best friend Pete (Brendan Scannell), for whom S&M is a business, not a pleasure. Well, maybe there’s a little pleasure. Their professional relationship redefines their friendship, but more importantly helps them find themselves, and Netflix’s series joins them every step of the way.
Levin and Scannell are joined by Micah Stock (Escape at Dannemora), D’Arcy Carden (The Good Place), Eric Berryman (Empathy, Inc.) and Theo Stockman (High Maintenance), with all of them reprising their roles for the second season. It picks up as Tiff and Pete, totally broke and banned from every dungeon in New York City, work to rebuild their reputations in the BDSM community.
Season 2 premieres on 27th January. Here’s the trailer:
