NOW TV offers 2-for-1 discount

NOW is offering a 2-for-1 discount throughout the month of September – just as it prepares to raise prices for its Entertainment Membership.
The VOD service, which offers contract-free streaming of select Sky channels and other pay-TV content, divides its platform into several passes. An Entertainment Month Pass (currently £7.99 a month), lets you watch several Pay TV channels not on Freeview (including Sky Atlantic, Sky 1, Sky Living, Sky Arts, FOX UK and MTV), plus a couple of hundred of box sets on-demand. A Sky Sports Day/Week/Month Pass (£various) lets you stream the biggest matches and events live on seven Sky Sports channels. A Kids Month Pass (£2.99 a month) streams dedicated channels for kids, including Cartoon Network, and thousands of episodes on-demand. The last is the NOW Cinema Membership (£11.99 a month), which gives streaming access to Sky Cinema’s library on-demand – including 1,000 movies, with a new premiere every day.
As of 9th October, the price of NOW’s Entertainment Membership is going up (for the first time in two years) from £7.99 a month to £8.99 a month – the same price as Netflix’s mid-tier subscription.
That price hike arrives after NOW introduced downloading shows and movies to watch offline, and as it prepares to launch two new channels: Sky Crime in October 2019 and Sky Comedy in February 2020. But before the price increase comes into effect, NOW is giving new subscribers a chance to keep their bills down for a little longer, with two months for the price of one – ideal for those looking to catch up with Chernobyl or Succession, or be prepared for The Walking Dead’s return for Season 10 next month (Season 1 to 9 are, at the time of writing, also available as box sets on-demand).
