From today, Apple TV users in the UK will be able to enjoy NOW, as the Entertainment and NOW Cinema Membershipare added to the service.
The NOW Entertainment Month Pass offers instant access to some of this autumn’s must-see shows, such as Boardwalk Empire and The Walking Dead, with 13 pay TV channels – including Sky and FOX UK – available with no contract.
Indeed, new shows currently streaming on the NOW Entertainment Month Pass (£7.99 a month) include the final series of Boardwalk Empire (Sky Atlantic), Legends (Sky 1) and The Leftovers (Sky Atlantic). Other shows available on-demand include Lost, The West Wing, Mad Men and Hannibal.
The Movies Month Pass gives similarly unlimited access to the Sky Movies catalogue, with both live streaming of Sky Movies channels and on-demand viewing. There is a total of over 800 movies in the line-up, available for £9.99 a month . Recent additions to the Sky Movies line-up include American Hustle, Saving Mr. Banks and Gravity.
The arrival of the Entertainment and Month Pass on Apple’s streaming media device follows the launch of a Sky Sports Pass last year. A Sky Sports Day Pass lets viewers watch live action from all seven Sky Sports channels for £8.99 for 24 hours. (At the time of writing, NOW is offering 10% off for Ryder Cup fans.)
Gidon Katz, Director of NOW, says: “There’s never been a better time to get stuck into gripping box sets like The Walking Dead or The West Wing, right from the very first episode, plus get unlimited access to hundreds of the latest award-winning movies like American Hustle – straight to your main TV screen.”
NOW is now available on over 50 devices, including the NOW Box, Apple TV, iPad and iPhone.
