Uncut Gems is being released by Netflix in UK cinemas this week, before it arrives online later this month.
From acclaimed filmmakers Josh and Benny Safdie, the crime thriller stars Adam Sandler as Howard Ratner, a charismatic New York City jeweller always on the lookout for the next big score. When he makes a series of high-stakes bets that could lead to the windfall of a lifetime, Howard must perform a precarious high-wire act, balancing business, family, and encroaching adversaries on all sides, in his relentless pursuit of the ultimate win.
“Adam Sandler is sensational in this intense, nail-biting, adrenaline-fuelled thriller,” we wrote in our review.
The film premiered last year as the surprise film at the London Film Festival and will be available in select UK cinemas from Friday 10th January. You can see our guide to where you can watch Uncut Gems on the big screen here. The film will then stream exclusively on Netflix in the UK from 31st January.
