Trailer: Frontier Season 3 heads across the Atlantic
David Farnor | On 16, Nov 2018
Frontier returns to our screens this November for Season 3 – and this time, it’s going transatlantic.
The series, which stars Jason Momoa as Declan Harp, a part-Irish, part-native American outlaw campaigning to breach the fur trade, first premiered back in 2016, following a deal between Netflix and Discovery Canada. A co-production between the two broadcasters, it airs on Discovery Canada in Canada and streams on Netflix worldwide.
“Short, stuffed with promising characters to explore and never short of the red stuff, the result is a grisly historical drama that eventually manages to live up to its ambition,” we wrote in our review of Season 1.
Season 3 sees Momoa once again joined by Downton Abbey’s Zoe Boyle, Hemlock Grove’s Landon Liboiron, Merlin and Supergirl’s Katie McGrath, plus our very own Alum Armstrong as Lord Benton, against whom Harp has a bloodthirsty vendetta of revenge. And, as the battle for profit and power continues, the battle against the Hudson’s Bay Company takes Momoa’s ferocious outlaw across the Atlantic. All six episodes arrive on Netflix on Friday 23rd November. Here’s a trailer:
