Netflix is getting ready to Come Undone with Robbie Williams, with a new documentary series in the works at the streamer.
For fans of the singer and songwriter, Angels have answered their prayers, with Netflix announcing at the Edinburgh TV Festival that it will be taking an intimate look at Williams’ career both on and off stage. Finding fame as a member of Take That back in 1990, his 30-plus-year career has seen him go from highs to lows and back again, and the documentary will chart his ups and downs as well as the media scrutiny that has captured every step.
The untitled series will let him entertain audiences as he recounts his departure from Take That and his later reunion with the group, as well as his recovery from addiction. It will be directed by Joe Pearlman (Bros: After the Screaming Stops) and executive produced by Asif Kapadia (Amy, Diego Maradona, Senna) and Dominic Crossley-Holland (The Love of Money, All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace).
It will premiere on Netflix in 2023.
