“Honey, your eyeballs are about to get slapped!” reads the warning at the start of the trailer for Super Drags, and that sets the tone for what promises to be a very adult animated super show.
Produced by Brazilian studio Combo Studios, the adult animation follows three superheroes: Lemon Chiffon, Cran’s Sapphire and Crimson Scarlet. During the day, they work in a department store and deal with their uptight boss. By night, they tighten up their corsets and transform into the baddest Super Drags in town, ready to combat shade and rescue the world’s glitter from the evil villains.
“Whether they’re facing a shady customer, or outright bigotry, these queens are ready to spread their glitter and twerk away the shade,” reads the show’s official synopsis. And judging by this trailer, it’s certainly going to live up to that The Powerpuff Girls-meets-RuPaul’s Drag Race vibe.
Super Drags will hit Netflix on Friday 9th November. Here’s the trailer:
Super Drags is available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.
