The series is produced by David Alpert (The Walking Dead) and Rick Jacobs (Wynona Earp) for Circle of Confusion, David Ozer and Ted Adams for IDW Entertainment and Arvind Ethan David and Zainir Aminullah for Ideate Media.
All eight episodes of its first season will premiere on Netflix on Sunday 11th December 2016. Here’s the official Netflix poster for the show:
Netflix co-produces BBC America’s Dirk Gently reboot

Netflix has boarded BBC America’s new take on Dirk Gently as a co-producer, snapping up the international streaming rights in the process.
The show is based on the Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency novels by Douglas Adams, which were previously adapted by BBC Four in the UK, starring Stephen Mangan. The new version, though, takes Adams’ detective to the US.
The eight-episode series is written and executive produced by Max Landis (Chronicle), executive produced by Robert Cooper (Stargate) and stars Samuel Barnett (Penny Dreadful) as the eponymous, eccentric investigator. Elijah Wood co-stars as his reluctant assistant, Todd, as the duo wend their way through one big, seemingly insane mystery, crossing unlikely paths with a bevy of wild and sometimes dangerous characters, each episode landing them a few random steps closer to uncovering the truth. Hannah Marks (The Amazing Spiderman, Weeds) completes the main cast.
